Awesome that we have an upright bass coming. I can’t wait! I’m a bit surprised that they didn’t sample a 5 string upright bass similar to the other bass expansions thus far.
I don’t have a crystal ball but given Toontrack’s past record I would wager there are two SDX expansions coming before the end of the year. November is always “Metal Month” so I would expect to see a new metal SDX in November. Last year they released a metal EZX in November so this year it will be a Metal SDX. I’ve no idea why the Scandinavians are so into heavy metal.
In addition to a metal SDX there will likely be another SDX released late summer/fall. Given the most recent SDX’s it will likely be focused on another iconic audio engineer. I’ve got Decades and Legacy of Rock, both of which are amazing!! I’m really looking forward to what comes next. Hopefully Covid doesn’t derail all of my predictions.

Thanked by: Ryan Dalos and Chris ThomasWould you agree to a price of 15 euros?
No I wouldn’t agree to a price of 15 euros. Would you if you were me? Silly question.
I think this would be a great addition.

Thanked by: sj1You can often find the midi for well known songs online. Use your DAW to pull out and separate the drum track from the rest of the midi. Even if you have just a snippet of the drum midi, you can drop that midi into EZDrummer to find similar grooves in your ToonTrack library. Good luck!

It’s a bit more on PayPal in international fees.
.
I’ll 2nd the need for a great upright EBX.
Yes agreed. 7th’s, diminished, b5’s, #9’s, etc. needed.
Yes! Another vote for an upright bass! Given that November is “Metal Month”, I’m sure that the next EZ bass released will be some kind of death metal bass. Shortly after that, we really need an upright bass with jazz midi. I’ve got money burning a hole in my pocket waiting to spend on this!

Thanked by: Stephan KatmarianScott,
Thanks for the reply. Is there an avenue for a refund if I purchased EZX Pop! through on online retailer?
Scott – thank you for the reply,
I’m a relatively new user of EZdrumer 2. That said, there are many confused users all writing in with the same question. I’m sure that there are exponentially more confused users that won’t take the time to write in. The way EZX Pop! presets are selected appears to be at odds with other EZX expansions. Yes, you can eventually get there by drilling down with more clicks, but is this outlier really in the true spirit of the “EZ” philosophy? I don’t think it is fair to blame your users for expecting consistency in your product line. I’ve had such a great experience with the other EZX packs, but find this one “intentional” glitch very annoying. I’d like a refund please.
Thank you
Yes – I’m also very disappointed by this. All of my other EZX expansions work as advertised and expected. The Pop! expansion pack is definitely lacking in this regard. Toontrack is such a great company. I’m very surprised that they were so lazy and/or sloppy with this kit.
