SUCCESS !!!!!!
Brad and Scott- thank you so much for your help. I genuinely feel that one of the greatest gifts we have to offer is our time. I appreciate your patience in helping me through this – and for giving part of your weekend to help a wayward newbie stranger. Lol !! Cheers to you both !!
No problem. That’s what I’m here for.

Thanked by: DrProgNerdJust for clarification to your comment “I would manually delete the .dll and run the S3 plugin update (not any sound installers).”
For delete – just right click the Superior Drummer 3.dll>delete from the location: PC > C: > Program Files > VSTPlugins > Toontrack ?
When you say “run the S3 plugin update” – where do I do that?
Yes. Delete it from that location by right click and delete.
Then open Product Manager. It should indicate that the plugin (under the S3 product not the sound library) isn’t installed. Should have the red button to download and install

Thanked by: BradWhere is the Superior Drummer 3.dll installed?
I would manually delete the .dll and run the S3 plugin update (not any sound installers).

Thanked by: DrProgNerdGo to the Settings screen in S3 and reset the path to that location and NOT the (x86) location.

Can you navigate to that folder location on your hard drive and take a screenshot of the contents of the SL-SuperiorDrummer3 folder?

Thanked by: DrProgNerd and BradThis would be a DAW setting. Similar to the screenshot below. Studio One may call it block size or some DAWs call it buffer size.

Maybe you’re using a lower audio buffer size than your computer can run effectively? What is your buffer set to? Does raising the buffer help?

Launch the S3 standalone, open the Help menu and choose Show Plug-In Path. Set that path in the Reaper Preference menu (see pic).

Thanked by: DrProgNerdDo you have more than 1 ezdrummer.dll on your system? Did it get moved or copied from its original install location? What version number shown on the EZD2 interface in your DAW? Is it a different version than the standalone EZD2?

Did I miss something? There isn’t a Djembe (or any other ‘African’ drum) listed at https://www.toontrack.com/product/twisted-kit-ezx/
Is it under another name?
No, it’s listed as a Djembe.

I don’t see the Latin Percussion EZX in your account or do I ever see it there from since the account was created. I don’t see that it was ever transferred to you from someone else or vise versa. I’m not sure what else to offer by way of help on this.
