What is the error message that you get say?

If it says something like “application failed to start because configuration is incorrect. reinstalling the application may fix the problem.”

If so then you need to have the latest version of .NET Framework installed. You can get it here:

    Tim,

I don’t use Logic, I use Cubase. But, when I’m programming and mixing I can set up 1 MIDI track that has all of the MIDI on it (kick, snare, hi hat, etc.)

Then, when mixing, I can have each of the mixer channels from the EZD Mixer on separate mixer channels in my DAW (Cubase) and process each of the instrument as I like.

    Think of this signal path:

    – 1 MIDI channel in your DAW holds the MIDI notes you’ve created (in this case all of the kit piece hits)
    – These MIDI hits are fed into EZDrummer and are sent to the correct drums (provided you’re mapping is correct).
    – Then, each drum is sent out the Mixer channels in EZD into your DAW channels (Multichannel if selected)
    – These are sounds are sent out of your soundcard into your speakers and eventually into you ears!

Not knowing what DAW host you’re using it’s hard to give an exact answer. But, having said that, EZD can be set up in multichannel mode so that each of the mixer channels (kick, snare, toms, etc) will appear in your host for processing individually.

    What is a GM?

Unfortunately, that is all I can help you with this. I don’t use any pieces of you setup (except EZD).

Taking a look at a thread where Rogue posted a response to someone with the same question as you, it would seem that the only workaround for your issue is to set an input transformer in Logic to remap the MIDI input from the DTXPlorer since that particular drum module can’t remap to EZD (or anything else).

As to how to set up an input transformer in Logic, I’d see if the Logic manual would shed any light on the subject. Or, maybe some kindhearted Logic user can help out.

    Good luck.
