OK, so that means that I’d buy one Regular version first, then Sound Expansions after that?
Correct.

The “expansion” version library requires the customer to have any “Regular” EZkeys library already registered to their account. There is no sonic difference.

Try this one!! I think I got it!
I see that is EZD2 open and I’m seeing the EZD3 MIDI library in EZD2. That is expected.
If you want to use EZD3, it is a separate plugin. What DAW are you using? Do you have both EZD2 and EZD3 in your plugin instrument list? Have you re-scanned and/or rebooted the computer after you installed EZD3?

Please see this FAQ regarding Future Hit instruments. The FAQ references EZD2 but the same holds true for EZD3 (and S3 for that matter).

Thanked by: Tim BiedertHmm. Taking a look at your account I see EZD3 and the EZD3 Library registered to your account. Can you post a screenshot of the product in Toontrack PM because it should have a red Download Button. Possibly logging out and then back into PM.

Thank you for your replies, I did open it in a previous project, so if i am to be correct if I start a new project will it open as ezd 3?
EZD2 and EZD3 are two separate plugins. Which means unless you uninstall one or the other, you should have 2 choices when starting a new project.
Unless you mean you have a project template that uses EZD2. In that case, a new project will still load EZD2 unless you update the template with EZD3.

Thanked by: anthony.orlandoYes. Edit manually on the Song Track and/or import from a MIDI file.
Thanks for your reply!
Just to clarify: Currently (EZDrummer 2), it doesn’t recognize the time sig has changed, and so the drummer/notation is one measure off for the rest of the song.
TThat has changed in EZDrummer 3?
Thanks!
You can manually input time signature changes in the EZD3 Song Track to matchthe signature changes in your DAW.

If you have other EZXs installed, the EZD3 sound library will install there. Or you can move them as per the manual.

Thanked by: ThunderchimpFrom the file menu, you should be able to select “Import EZdrummer 2 Project…” and import your EZD2 Project.

The MIDI is the same.
The features on how you can tweak the MIDI would be different between the EZD3 Grid editor and a DAW editor.

Do you have any active filters?
See this section of the EZD3 manual:

The Grid Editor in EZD3 has some specialized humanize functions that you might want to check out. See the video below to find out more.
