Wait, so buying NEW YORK STUDIOS VOL.1 SDX doesnt make sense cause its already in the core library?

If you never purchased Superior Drummer 2, then it makes sense.

Hi, thanks for the response.  Superior drummer. I’m looking on product manager, but don’t see a way to do it, please advise

    What is a slot?

Please see the Product Manager walk-through video. Check the 5:41 mark for using the authorization tab and how to remove active authorizations.

    toontracks says free up slots.

For which product? If you have 2 active authorizations at the same time and want another, you’ll need to remove one of the active ones to authorize a new computer. You can only have 2 active at one time.

You can do this from the Toontrack Product Manager.

“I believe that is a feature that will be implemented in an update. Brad’s screenshot isn’t accurate to the currently released version. I do not have an ETA on the update release as is currently being beta tested.”

@Scott – I understand you may have limited ability to discuss too much detail about upcoming releases, but can you please confirm that a user-selectable MIDI Input channel, is definitely in the short-term roadmap for EZK?  I just downloaded a demo of EZBass, and unfortunately I see the same missing feature there, so I’d really like to know about EZB also, before I can commit to that product.  Is the feature in the short-term roadmap for EZB too?

I don’t mean to press you on this, but I’m just trying to determine whether I need to help “fight” for this important feature by submitting feature requests for BOTH products, or whether this is a known-shortcoming and already being planned in upcoming patches/maintenance releases of both products.   I’m honestly surprised this feature is missing in the big release of EZK2, and so I’m a little worried that EZK and EZB may not fit my needs without cumbersome workarounds, unless this feature is added.  Selectable MIDI input channel will make EZK and EZB consistent with EZD, and greatly improve the flexibility and workflow options for both products.

    Any additional info MOST appreciated.

    Thank you!
    Bob

Simply put, I can’t really comment on any features in future releases. Either because I’m under an NDA or I just don’t know what the developers are including in any given release.

If you scroll down in your MIDI Browser, do you have a folder called EZX Seventies Rock? It should be listed under the EZX Rock! that is show in your pic.

Do you own the EZmix2 product?

    https://www.toontrack.com/product/ezmix-2/

You need the full EZmix2 product to use any EZmix expansion pack.

yes is seventies rock bought yesterday

when i try to add to library it doesn’t work, still the same situation as per screenshot

    regards

Do you have a folder called “EZX Seventies Rock” that contains MIDI?

If so, delete the empty “EZX 70s” folder as described above.

There is simply no product named ‘EZX 70s’. ‘There is ‘EZX Seventies Rock’, so if you have that one, it is OK.
I would simply right-click the ‘EZX 70s’ and select ‘Open in Finder/Explorer’ and then delete that folder.

But they do exactly that.  There was one occasion when they would release. I thought the problem was solved somehow. That has never happened again.  Every time I open everything , Mute the cymbals(either of them or both), they stay muted. By muted, I mean choked. Restart the program , EZD3, and I’m back to normal until I choke a cymbal.

If you indeed have the preset loaded I can’t think of why it doesn’t work. It’s odd that it worked on one occasion but now doesn’t. Sorry I can’t provide a better solution.

Cymbals should not stay muted if you are using the right preset: Alesis > Nitro (in EZD3/SD3).

In your screenshot you have something muted in the Grid Editor. What is muted? If you unmute it, does it fix it?

Hello almost 8 years later! I need to free up one slot named ” Mac estudio”, got a new computer, thank you, best regards

You should be able to remove an old authorization from the Toontrack Product Manager. If not, please let me know what specific  product you need authorization removed for.
