Please be sure that you are attempting to load the plugin
on a stereo Instrument Track in Pro Tools…
Have you tried posting your issue here on the forum?
There’s usually enough talent here at any point in time to possibly help with your issue.
Installer is doing more than a mere copy of sound content. You’ll just have to be patient while it is doing its work.
Watching what the install did, it actually does look to be mostly just copying and moving files from the download directories to the ‘SL-SuperiorDrummer3’ directory on the same drive, which adds up to around 100 minutes worth of copying.
The ‘copying‘ portion of the installation might actually go faster
if the [DOWNLOAD] location and SD3 library were not on the same drive.
While you’ve peaked my interest in them, I don’t currently have any experiences with AeroDrums.
Have you read this section of the manual? https://aerodrums.com/manual/#midi
or reviewed this FAQ https://aerodrums.com/using-aerodrums-with-daws-drum-samplers/
I am able to remove items from the cart using either of 2 methods:

Thanked by: drumman1968I think you’re right. I need to tweak. I know I can have it on a separate output and gate it but it’s not really the same thing. It won’t change what bleeds into the OHs, and gates can wreck the front of a drum hit as well.
I will have to look elsewhere.
Thanks for your input!
I’ve gated a kick without losing the start of the hit. All it needs is the right threshold and release settings.
or use Fab Dupont’s trick ‘Crystal Ball, Future-Looking’ duplicate Kick track sidechain trick.
Essentially, a duplicate of the Kick track is made and has been slid forward on the timeline
to enable the gate/compressor to ‘see’ the transients, etc. before they actually occur on the ‘real’ Kick track.
(The duplicate Kick track is used ONLY as a sidechain & should be routed/bussed where it will be unheard in the mix.)

Thanked by: Brad and Jimi WatsonOnce upon a time, (on Windows PCs) you could configure your Google Drive as a mapped drive (i.e.; drive G:).
I don’t know if that functionality still exists with Google Drive.
If it does, you could link a USER MIDI folder within EZD to one on the G: drive
I know that it is ‘only’ an EZX but don’t discount the Claustrophobic EZX.
The Claustrophobic EZX fuses conventional and organic drums with a selection of percussive elements, all recorded in a heavily dampened room and mixed through high-end chains of outboard. It includes several kit presets, a large selection of optional instruments as well as a comprehensive library of presets.
As I understand it and in my own user experience with EZKeys2, the ‘Replace MIDI‘ function of EZKeys2
allows the user to apply the playing style(s) and groove(s) found in the app’s MIDI Groove Libraries to their entered chord sequences.
I’ve not really expected EZKeys2 to create melodies or lead lines.
Perhaps MIDI suggested by the Bandmate function is closer to those types of results…

Thanked by: Bear-Faced CowBandmate and the other songwriting tools that SD3 doesn’t have.
If that’s not you, SD3 might be all that you need.
