Yep. EZD2 installation files will still be accessible via the Product Manager.

For example, I still have access to installation files for EZDrummer1, SuperiorDrummer2
and a few other discontinued Toontrack products.

But, as stated in the EZD3 FAQ, EZdrummer 2 will not be updated beyond May 3, 2022
and it is possible (re: very likely) that future updates
to the operating system or hardware may render older software unusable.

The EZD3 updates to EZX expansions have been tested (and continue to be tested) to assure that they
do not affect the use of the updated EZX expansions in EZDrummer2. Therefore So, if you pre-order,
it wouldn’t surprise me if at some point Toontrack might
pre-load the updates for the EZX expansions existing in your account,
prior to the EZD3 release date – making your EZXs ready to go as soon as the EZD3 download is released.

Maybe someone with EZX expansions who has pre-ordered can report as much
if & when the updates appear in their account.

“Show in Browser” navigates the user to the selected groove within the EZKeys MIDI Grooves Browser,
not to anythin in the OS file system.

I believe that the EZKeys Favorites (and the contained folders & grooves) exist only as entries in a text file.

As in the past, when I open the Product Manager, it does a “Check for Updates” scan
that was too fast for me to capture a screenshot.

Subsequently, it found my installation of Product Manager to be out-of-date
and prompted me for an update, shown in the screenshot below.

PS. Upon downloading, installing & relaunching Product Manager,
a 2nd update was prompted. Clicked [Install & Relaunch] once more and Product Manager opened,
    revealing my purchases.

Just wondering why would you want to wait to redeem the product code?
Redeeming the code does not require that the product be downloaded or installed immediately thereafter…

This tidbit might of use to you.
Section 4.4 of the SuperiorDrummer3 User Manual will illustrate the RESULTS portion of the Grooves tab.
    https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/4/4-4-the-results-section

The last discussion within Section 4.4 is that of the [Groove Parts] area of the RESULTS
and speaks to enabling the user to isolate or remove different instruments making up the selected groove.

    I wouldn’t know why not…   I am.  A lot of former EZDrummer1 users are.
You will likely be prompted to install updates for your EZD1 sound libraries & MIDI.
Tip: Do not uninstall EZDrummer1. Doing so will very likely remove your sound libraries as well.
Simply install EZDrummer2 over top of your existing EZD1 implementation. EZD2 will replace EZD1.

I very recently moved all of my EZ libraries (EZKeys, EZBass & EZDrummer2) to an external drive.
EZDrummer2 & EZBass were recognized by the Product Manager simply by browsing to the new library location within the product itself when prompted. (I had to move them first & delete them from the old location.)

Following the same procedure within EZKeys did not seem to affect the same response.
My solution was to download and install one of my previously installed EZKeys libraries
(even though I had already installed & moved it to the new location).

This effectively seemed to affect the change for ALL of my other EZKeys library expansions & MIDI expansions.

Among the features found in EZDrummer2, the [SEARCH] tab has the means to preview
all of the individual grooves contained in any Toontrack MIDI pack sold in the Toontrack Web Shop.

    Nope.
Please check out page 13 of the EZDrummer User Guide
to visualize (and locate) the [Kits] button on the Instrument Selection Menu.
The Kits button opens a menu where you can select between the Kit Presets
available for the current Library Preset.

It appears that one of the error messages shown in your screenshot
suggests that a complete reinstall of DFH may be in order.

    not a GarageBand user but,
a response on the Apple Discussion Forum mentioned that
you have to enable them in the GarageBand >
    Preferences > Audio/Midi tab:
Enable the checkmark “Enable Audio Units“.
