I have this problem too when I drag and drop a groove from SD3 into my DAW or even in the song editor the sound changes to a very nasty one. I never had this problem in the last couple of years of using SD3
Thanks for any help,
Robert John Woodard
Thanks for the reply. Honestly I am totally confused and frustrated. I do not understand why the drums I export from tracker sound different and horrible from the drums in tracker. I followed the steps in this video from time 5:15: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CrZMANb0ho In the videos I see on youtube, it seems to just work.
The audio in tracker sounds fine. It is the exported midi that sounds strange whether I put it in that bottom part of SD3 where it says drag midi to block or I drag it to my DAW Reaper. The midi even looks strange, like to small.
I am not sure how to mute in the original in tracker as you suggested.
Thanks,
Rob
Hi, not sure where to ask my question but sorry if this is the wrong place. I followed the advice of some videos and used tracker to convert my audio to midi. The problem is after I drag the midi item with all the drums combined in to the place at the bottom and play it with my song, I do not hear the drums. What is going here? I only here the drums when I have the tracker window clicked on. I thought the point of this was to use the midi. I am totally confused.
Thanks,
Rob
I just had the same issue. It sucks. It never happened with this project before. I hadn’t checked on this particular project for a few months and suddenly I want to edit some drums and I get the message “audio engine inactive check your device”
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Rob
Cool video, thanks!,thats what I needed. Can one also use a midi keyboard controller to control the drums in tap to find? I have sd3.
Thanks 🙂
