I used the path Programs/VSTPlugins/Toontrack and 64 bit works fine with MY SD 2 and EZD (I haven’t upgraded yet to EZD2). Try that path.

John, It was a bit issue of Cubase LE 5 is 32 bit and I was trying to use 64 bit VST Plugins. When I went to old laptop(32bit) it all still worked with Pro Tools Express. I am upgrading to Cubase 7.7 Artist at 64bit and will install all my toontrack plugins at 64 bit as well. Thanks

I may have similar problem so I am adding here, if it needs to be a different topic I apologize.

I am running Windows 7 64bit SP1, had Pro Tools Express working with my EZDrummer and SD2.0. Will upgrade to EZD 2 when working. I changed DAW when I got a Presonus US1800 for my acoustic kit mic’s to Cubase 5LE and have upgrade to Cubase 7 but not installed it yet. With Cubase 5 LE I lost sound to monitor or hear my Yamaha DTXpress IV ekit. I can hear drums in EZDrummer from PC but can’t trigger the EZDrummer from my Yamaha DTXpress IV. I play through an M Audio Fast Track Pro still. I may have the same issues as above.

What would you have me check in my installations of EZDrummer, SD2 to verify version installed? I may have the path as (86), so this may be my problem? Where in Cubase would I verify which bit I am running? Help, About tab maybe? Thanks

I was using the path that said VST, When I changed path to what the INSTRUCTIONS said path was Toontracksounds not toontrackVST. See if that helps you. I now have reaper seeing the EZdrummer option when I select it in VST Instrument and EZDRUMMER kit shows up. I am at work but assume it will work tonight when I get home and hook up to e-kit.

I have same problem also using Reaper 4 and windows 7. Solo works on my laptop. I see the path and actually see VST Plugins and click it from add button in Reaper, then Apply and ok. When I go to my Yamaha DTXPRESS IV Special V2 kit I hit drums and get a techno sound that is different on each drum. Sounds like Reaper is passing something but I never see EZDrummer or Toontracks when I select in Reaper ADD VST or ADD Instrument. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
