PerkussionYou often have to tweak the settings in the module, (any module), if the SD3 results are not what you expected at first.
I have adjusted almost all my module pad settings and the changes have worked out well.
I would try lowering the kick sensitivity in the module to stop the double-triggering and cross talk.
