I am using an ESP H-1007 with EMG 81-7 and 707 but I have also used mt PRS custom 24 with Dragon II’s in it. I am pretty sure I followed the same parameters as in the video. I will give it another shot. Of course right after I get MGT, MGT2 comes out with the Chris Broderick settings….lol.
It’s not the EZmix2 that’s the problem. It’s registered and works fine. My ezmix 1 stuff is there, ezmix metal and ezmix2 as well. It shows metal guitar gods too. When I launch it and try to open Metal guitar gods it asks for my serial number. Which I put in and email and password. It gives the message about the authorization server being down and to authorize offline. As soon as I do that it has some serial number in there that I can’t change. The serial number that toontrack shows in my products is not the same as what is in the off line authorization box and I cant change it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled and still nothing. I have never run into this problem before.
I was trying to authorize my metal guitar gods last night and it kept saying the authorization server was down and to authorize off line. unfortunately when I tried to do that it automatically puts in a serial number that I can’t change and its not the same number that shows in my products under metal guitar gods. It’s very strange.
Okay this is driving me insane now. I finally got metal guitar gods to download and now it will not let me authorize it. Says the server is down and to try offline authorization. When I try and do that it has some computer ID I don’t recognize and wont let me change it. All my products are registered on the same computer. When I look up my ezmix2 authorization it is not showing authorized. I did authorize it, it was successful and is fully functioning. What is going wrong? I have never had this much trouble authorizing my products until I bought and loaded this ezmix2.
Yes, that was the first thing I did after getting the error message. Even extracted I get the same message.
That was it!!! The second I loaded the 32bit version both 1 and 2 were there. In the EZmix2 platform of course. I have to say though I have loved all of my toontrack products up to this point. I am not sure if I am using it wrong but…I have recorded all my guitar and bass tracks using amplitube 3 (The Engl amp) I was hoping that it would be like the EZmix1 presets where it punches up the track already recorded and makes it sound amazing. Well, I used the guitar presets and it made them sound horrible and hollow. Am I using it wrong or something? Because the amp in amplitube sounds 1000 times better by itself without anything on it at all. The guitar presets sound nothing like on this website for some reason. Any idea why this would be?
Aha!! I bet thats the issue. I only did the 64bit. I forgot about that. Thanks again John. I will give it a go.
Cheers
I will do a re-install when I get home but at the moment, no that’s not in there. If it still doesn’t show up after re-install what should I do? Thank you John for the help by the way.
I am running windows 7 64-bit and Pro Tools M-Powered 8.0.5 for Windows. That was the last update. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide Brad.
How do you make that happen? My friend installed EZmix2 but in pro tools m-powered 8 it doesn’t show up in any of the plugin areas.
How did you get it to work? I have a TD-12 and it works fine in Solo but when I open it in Pro Tools as a plug in, it no longer works. With EZ Drummer it worked no problem Solo and in PT. SD 2.0 is just giving me fits.
