Well, you didn’t directly answer my questions and the screenshot does not show that you have tried to install from TTPM. The downloads/DMGs should not be opened like you did there. Instead, TTPM should launch the installations.

Does the Product Manager show a red “Install Product” button for The Blues EZX?
If so, when you click it, is it replaced by the text “Installer launched”? And do you get the message ‘“Installer.app” needs to be updated.’ or does an installer window open?

Those disk images / folders won’t even be open if you use the Product Manager. Don’t confuse it with the web interface. It is normally located in Applications > Toontrack on your disk (and it can be seen in the Dock in your screenshot). So launch Toontrack Product Manager and then use the “Download Product” and “Install Product” buttons, etc.

Hi,
Use the Toontrack Product Manager application to install/update the products. That should work even though some downloads contain outdated installer applications (because they won’t be used).

Running the EZdrummer 3.0.6 software installer again should fix it.

Thanked by: berglySame issue here, worked fine for years but now wont open. Immediately crashes, Extremely frustrating. Tried to open it in notepad and its scrambled, cant get it back to its original file type either (whatever that was). Need to install new product, dont see any other way. I really like the Product Manager too, it was really convenient. I attached the notepad file, hope its readable by somebody

All presets in the EZmix 1 and EZmix 2 packs were meant to have the same controls in EZmix 3 as in EZmix 2 (and sometimes a few extra new controls), making it possible to import or convert projects from EZmix 2 to EZmix 3. The “Metal Master Bus” preset is apparently an exception that I was not aware of. The Push control has been split into three controls. If you set all three to the same value as the Push knob has in EZmix 2, you should get the same sound.
EZmix 3 can import EZmix 2 projects (File > Import EZmix 2 Project), but EZmix 2 projects can only be saved by the standalone.
But good news: REAPER 7.34 has support for “IPluginCompatibility,” which means that if you have EZmix 2 VST in a project, uninstall EZmix 2 and open the project, REAPER can replace all EZmix 2 instances with EZmix 3 (with the same settings). Just note that you need to do a “Re-scan (Clear cache…)” of plug-ins (in REAPER settings) after installing version 7.34, so that it knows about EZmix 3 being compatible with EZmix 2.

It shouldn’t be. See https://www.toontrack.com/faq/the-vst-vst3-audio-unit-aax-plug-in-or-standalone-application-is-not-installed-macos/ how to make sure that the VST (2) gets installed.

Nothing bad shown in the screenshot. In what way doesn’t SD3 work?
