I would love to have this feature as I am sitting with my client/co-producer working on his album and adding individual articulations is super time-consuming when in theory it should be the matter of two clicks like running a single stack with shared articulations. I would pay extra money just for this feature!

+1 and agree here. A bit cumbersome, unless there is a reason to not stack across articulations that I can’t think of as a non-drummer.

I actually route all of my cymbals and rides to a new separate channel for each and also include in OH as well. That way I have full control.

That’s a good idea. How do you do that –> route each cymbal to its own track?

Wait so a related question on an instrument…

my side stick hit on the snare was too low so I added into my existing sd3 a new snare as instrument, turned higher and only for the stick hits.

are you saying that those hits won’t be captured in the OH and ambient? I am somewhat new to sd3. Thanks!

Would you need two instances of the SD3 plug in or would it work to add an instrument to the kit and assign it one or the other?

Revisiting this if anyone has built a Carter Beauford-like preset with the included kit, where there is a Yamaha Custom + a fair amount of cymbals he uses. I’m trying to build something. Might require a second kit just for cymbals.

Hi, I just came across this and facing the same issue. I have SD3 with Reaper, getting clicks and pops when using SD3 on a track.

The pops are within the SD3 FX window (not within Midi editor as noted above). The pops continue using 1, 2 or 4 cores. Any idea how I may be able to resolve this?

    Thanks.
