then for some odd reason, it’s working in my setup. I just installed all products, upgrades, let toontrack do their install preferences and I only put the sounds on a dedicated sample drive.
Sonar will let you do that also. However, nothing to say you can put a fill on TOP of a groove either. Who cares if the drummer has 4 arms if it sounds good? well…I do know some people care, but it’s the end result imo.
also, in Sonar, check out track layers. That way you can keep the MIDI on one track, but keep fills, like what you want to do on a separate layer…should you want to process them differently, etc.
