Hi again,
I’m having no troubles bouncing the entire track, just opening the project, and selecting Track -> Export Song as Audio File(s), without highlighting or selecting anything. Could you guide me through the steps by which you get an unsuccessful bounce? Do you run in standalone or in a host when bouncing? What sample rate and buffer size are you running at? And also if possible, could you upload the file “mytdrums2.wav”?

Hi,
There shouldn’t be a noticeable limitation to the length of bounced audio. But if you could post your project (a zipped .ezbp file saved from within EZbass), we can investigate the issue. If you don’t want to post it here, you can open a support ticket: https://www.toontrack.com/faq/how-do-i-contact-support/.

Charles,
If you want to use the Audio Tracker with a guitar track that contains notes lower than A0, you could try to track your guitar audio as “Bass Audio to MIDI”, which would render all notes an octave higher than you desire. You then make your changes in the tracker until you are happy, and select “Add MIDI to Song Track”. Then go to the Grid Editor and move all notes so that the lowest one lands on A0, and then at last re-tune the bass to access the lower notes.

It wouldn’t make much sense to do so, since EZbass doesn’t work with strings in the traditional meaning. My guess is that you are trying to use the tuning box for something that it is not meant to be used for. I would also fail trying to match the tuning of EZbass to a 7 string guitar tuned to whatever non-standard tuning, because it’s simply not supposed to work that way. Regardsless of the which tuning is used – If you need to play a D, play a D. If you need to play an Eb, play an Eb.
If you have a specific scenario where you are trying to use the tuning box but fail, please describe it and i’ll try to guide you through the intended workflow.

The notion of “tuning” in EZbass is not the same as for a regular bass guitar. You cannot, for example, tune the E-string down while having the rest of the strings in standard tuning. The idea is that you can access all notes available on the bass by playing them on a keyboard or in the grid editor. If you want to use EZbass together with a guitar tuned to Drop-D, you just alter the MIDI to match the song.
The semitone control can be used to quickly get a grip of what the song would sound like in another key, without having to change all the notes in your MIDI.
The graphical representation of the notes on the fretboard is the same as the incoming MIDI and will not change with the tuning (with the analogy that even if you tune a real bass guitar down, you still play on the same frets on the fretboard).
The three additional options in the tuning box (Perfect, Bass, Piano) just alters the pitch of the notes slightly, such as true-temperament fretboards do.
Have i misunderstood your question? If so, please describe in a bit more detail what kind of behaviour you’re missing.

Hi,
Were you able to fix this issue? I have not been able to reproduce it using a TD50.

Hi,
Could you provide a bit more information about the specific case? Which library did you use, were there stacks involved, etc?
Perhaps you could attach a project file where the problem arises, so that we can investigate this further?

Are you using an AU-host? The short story here is that AU doesn’t support MIDI-out, so other techniques are used for this in EZKeys, which might result in this behaviour, especially for large buffer sizes. So if you have the possibility, try a VST-host. If that is not an option, then using a smaller buffer size might help.

Hi Scorpy,
When you imported your MIDI-file to the song track in EZKeys, did you un-click the “Humanize MIDI” option that pops up? This is important in order to keep the timing of the source MIDI-file.
