Dear, Dear Toontrack Product development managers/ Norman Garschke, it seems I’m not the only one crying out for help here! As a loyal customer for over 10 yrs now, I’ve been sending support requests on this matter for years, but it always seems to fall on deaf ears, or the standard ” we can’t comment on what’s in the pipeline etc…
Then when the Reggae pack finally came out, it was such a disappointment! What’s the point of putting octobans on there, when there are no midi grooves to accompany it? Same issue with the Hitmaker Copeland inspired kit…
If any one can nail the Tony Allen inspired groove, surely Norman’s the MAN!
We need more straight ahead 4/4 grooves, ‘coz writing an afro-pop song on 12/8 ain’t easy!
Also on the percussion side, more midi Salsa & Hi-Life kinda midi grooves. Timbale rolls, like Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, and reggae drumming like Sly Dunbar & other modern reggae drummers!
And PLEASE, when we’re paying for these drum packs, especially for EZ Drummer, can we have more colour! Everytime I change kits, I always have to look at the same generic kit, through on your “making of” videos, we see the different kits in all their glorious colour of pink blue sparkle etc.
Even worse when you load EZ Kits in SD3!!
Again, I love your products, but more often have to look at 3rd party offering, and try to make them work in SD3, which is SUCH a hustle!
We look forward to what Toontrack have install in 2025 on the “ethnic side”.
I hope I get a reply on some of the issues raised here!
Cheers. Derek.

I second this!
I don’t know if this is still available but the best I can do now is $80.
Thanks,
Mark
The transfer went great and was completed today. Do you have an opinion on Area 33 Origin? What did you like and didn’t like?
Thanks,
Mark
+1 on Bandmate being added to SD3.

Thanked by: MosheI appreciate the info. I hope they invest a little of the money we spend on updating SD3 to read the format. Cross application consistency can have a measurable impact on customer satisfaction. You know, for companies that care about such things.
Okay, great.
Yes, Superior Drummer 3 only shows generic graphics for EZX instruments.
Can that be updated in SD3? I use both programs and differing graphics cause confusion. Seems like a small effort for such a big consistence and usability payoff.
I too hope they integrate “About Sound Libraries” into EZD3. That was very handy to have without the need to go through folders.

Thanked by: Neil CumminsIncluding the EZD1 Mixer Presets would seem to be a very simple thing to do. I was able to easily import an EZD2 project and save it as a preset. It’s messy but works. I don’t understand this.
The EZD3 guide I have only goes to page 107. Is there a different User Guide that you have a link to?
