Seriously? Has your IQ hit rock bottom that quickly and you’re not selling?
That post was nothing more than proof of when you don’t have anything real to offer, you just try to be an internet troll. If the avatar fits, I guess!
The only thing magical about your name was making your intelligence disappear with that post. You’re the laughable one. Keep going. Like I said, the more you type the better everyone else looks.

The official word from Toontrack doesn’t mean much and quite frankly I don’t think they know the meaning of the term ASAP !
No, I actually I think you don’t know how the Software Development Lifecycle and Bug Classification system works. This is not the workflow killer drama that you are comically posting on this thread. This bug is medium severity with workaround. In fact, there are two workarounds, and no one is dead in the water using them. Yes, it is an annoyance right now… so what?! The past 22 months have been a lot worse on people & businesses (ToonTrack not being the exception) and yet the drama is all about this tiny little issue that inadvertently happened weeks ago. And yes, this issue really is tiny in perspective. There are many issues and hopefully feature requests that they are working on to make an release. No software developer releases a fix for a single bug unless that bug is a classified as fatal, which this is not.
No software is bulletproof. This bug is proof of that. Perhaps it might occur to you that they are actually doing some serious regression testing this time to ensure further bugs don’t happen. Rather than bellyaching and useless statements of withdrawing support, perhaps have some patience in that the testing process to make sure that 3.2.7 is the version that will put an end to this drama.
We are all dealing with this bug and yet many of us are still making music with Toontrack products and I still support because they still help me get music done, rather than post veiled threats in the forum (seriously, like that has any real effect at this time?) over an issue that I can easily get around.

Well, -You obviously haven’t worked with professional software like Photoshop or Studio One and the like so your opinions on workflow are completely redundant.
Why should Toontrack be doing some serious regression testing this time ! They obviously haven’t been doing so before since this isn’t the first time we find new bugs after a new release.
Unlike you I expect no less than premium performance when I pay a premium price !
People who take themselves too seriously are an endless source of comedy so I thank you so much for your post!

@Scott, can you provide a schedule when an update will be available? A time frame “released asap” is no longer acceptable as this problem has been reported at 6 October 2021 (around 7 weeks ago) and we don’t see progress. The temporary workaround to downgrade to v3.2.4 is not known to new customers.
My advise is to completely remove broken version 3.2.6 from the releases and restore 3.2.4 as default version when Toontrack is not able to fix this issue.
Look forward to hear from you.

Operating system: Windows 10The official word from Toontrack that I can provide is that they are working on an update to be released ASAP. I’m afraid that is the best time table we can provide.

I guess I’m right when I say that the Toontrack development team consist of only one person working part time with this software. Or they might have replaced the development team and the new team are desperately trying to figure out how the software actually works.
This is totally unacceptable and I can at this moment in no way recommend Toontracks Superior Drummer 3 or any other of their software.

Hello Toontrack, you know we love you a lot, so… please ! Since the release of 3.2.6, it’s starting to make a very long time we use your 379 EUR software with this annoying regression, don’t you think it’s a bit slow to react ? 😉 Since October 4th for being precise, we wait…

This is actually the most flawed software I’ve ever bought !
The concept is great but in reality it’s a bit too half assed !

Yeah I have a feeling that some of the long standing requests (like ability to rearrange mixer channels, issues in above thread, fixing hi-hat articulation transitions etc) are likely to be in SD4 and not fixes applied to SD3 !! maybe I’m too cynical ??
Reply To: Problem with SD3 version 3.2.6? version: 3.2.6

Well SD2 came out in 2008 and SD3 in 2017 so hopefully SD3 will last another 5 years !
I won’t be buying SD4 if I don’t see any major improvements in the editing function department of SD3 in the near future !
SD3 definitely needs an overhaul regarding the editing function for an improved workflow !
"If you can make it 100%, why not do it !"

It seems that they have introduced a few issues with Edit Play Styles/Grid Editor. I have managed to get erratic behaviour, up to and including crashing, moving the Power Hand around a few times in a groove.
is anyone actually testing these things before releasing a new version? QA is definitely asleep at the wheel.
jord
Oh no not again !
I doubt there is any thorough testing before releasing a new version ! In fact these new bugs poping up after each new version proves they don’t !
The idea of SD3 is brilliant and so is most of the package but the GUI and editing handling is way off and not on par with the rest !
I have suggested more than a few improvements but Toontrack doesn’t seem to care at all !
Toontrack could learn a thing or two from Adobe Photoshop and Presonus Studio One regarding editing functions.
They are probably working on SD4 as we speak 😉

TOPIC CLOSEDI just wrote this question in the Facebook-group-page. Maybe...TOPIC CLOSED
I just wrote this question in the Facebook-group-page.
Maybe I am doing something wrong but it does not seem to be possible anymore to spot a single note without getting all notes marked in a track.
Example: I take a Hihat-part – it was possible to select ONE note to change the volume or something else in this ONE note. After having updated SD3 to version 3.2.6 this does not seem to be possible anymore. By selecting one note, I get the whole track – i. e. the whole Hihat-track marked and it’s only possible to change/ to edit the volume for all notes in that track.
Is there a mistake in the software or am I making a mistake and have to change my routines?
Thanks for your answers and best regards!

Hi Tobbe,
Â
We have seen multiple other cases where customers have had User MIDI or third party MIDI in their EZDrummer > Midi folder.
Â
Please make sure that when you add User MIDI to Superior Drummer 3, you are adding it to the User MIDI folder or adding it in a Linked Folder to the Grooves browser.
Â
To add a Linked Folder, go into Options > User MIDI and Linked Folders > Add Linked Folder.
Â
You can also drag your MIDI files to the User MIDI folder in SD3 from your computer and the MIDI will get added.
If you want to add it in Windows Explorer or in Finder, right click the User MIDI folder > Open in Finder/Explorer.
Â
After adding new files to those folders, you may need to right click the User MIDI folder in SD3 and click Sync File Changes to see the changes in SD3.

4 years, 1 month ago by Petter Adsten"> 3 times, last modified 4 years, 1 month ago by Petter Adsten.Sorry, but that has to be the absolute worst solution to this issue!
If you refer to my screenshot:
You will notice that everything below the blue line (inclusive) was properly installed via an installer. Before the 3.2.5 update these were showing up in the area “Platinum Samples”. Now, the area is empty.Adding a linked folder just creates a giant jumbled mess!
For someone labeled as “Support & Beta Tester“, you messed up big! This needs to be fixed properly and tested without some silly band-aid solutions that will just look like a giant blob of MIDI spaghetti in the groove browser.
Totally not happy with this type of answer!
Next time, do some proper regression testing before releasing havoc on your users and you wouldn’t have to put up with the backlash in our posts.
