the updates are applied to the standalone and VST, so both are updated. That is, when you load EZmix in reaper, you should have the updates.

probably best to search the reaper forum. Do you have the Reaper/Options/Preferences/Plugins/VST directed to where you have installed your EZMIX.dll file?

It’s still there. When i open the link ‘Start Writing’ from the email i received, and i scroll down past the ‘Let’s Boogie’ & ‘Back To The Roots’ section to the new EZkeys and click the ‘Try It Free’ button, it takes you to the wrong page.

Just a heads up more than anything, i can still access it via search of products.

Thanks…took me a few reads, but it sunk in. Thanks for your time!

    ok, I see thanks.

So in regards to stereo, if I record midi initially, then when rendering these out to separate audio tracks, i should render each as mono except for the mics that have a Pan right channel/pan left channel config?

when you go to ‘options’ then ‘preference’ in Reaper, click on ‘Device’ in the left menu. On that page click on ‘ASIO Configuration’ to open your interface ( if you have one?)

You will probably have the fader (volume) for that input that you are using turned up, turn it right down to 0. If it is turned up, you are hearing the clean signal, as well as the VST sound. Turning the volume down will allow you to not hear the clean signal.

For that track, do you have ‘Record Armed’ set (red button goes bright red)

Then, do you have Record monitoring set to on?

there are a number of ways to use EZD2 in reaper.

To get you started, the simplest way is to have a track, click on FX so you can see all your plugins and choose EZD2. Ensure you have monitoring button on ( i think it turns green), then start clicking on the beats (midi) in EZD2 and you should hear the drums. let me know how you go with that to start with.

    Reaper user here also.
I only installed 64 bit as i use Reaper x64.

It would have given you an option on where to place the dll file. You must have missed it.

See if you can find it, and then place it in your folder where you normally keep all your intrument/effects dll files. If you can’t find it, start up the installation again and progress to the part where it asks where to install the plugin, as it will advise of a folder it would automatically install it to unless you change it. Then you will know where it installed it before.

ok fair enough. i don’t understand sample players and their limitations unfortunately. I don’t know a whole lot about drums and other type of hits, but the no rim shot is a bit of a bugger.

Last question, promise :) Due to my lack of knowledge, can you advise why it may be not possible in future to add a rim shot in the snare pull down menu. When you choose a snare type, then we get a played sample, right? Then if we could get a snare rim shot choice in the snare menu, we would get a rim shot sample.

thanks…kinda crazy as this is what we want to record as we play live. I guess we have to play it with the snare sound and just adjust it after the fact. You already get the choice to change snare, why not offer the type of hit?

Shouldn’t there at least be a response like ‘At this time we have are not working on future midi packs. We are, however, constantly updating the software to include customers requests and your ideas are noted!’ Confused
