When you say it’s “not one single file”, do you mean there are separate files to click on and download -or- that the one big file that I’m downloading now is automatically broken up into sections AS IT’S DOWNLOADING?
Because I’m using the Product Manager and all I see is the one FULL PRODUCT INSTALLER at 121 GB. (There is also a MIDI update file at 2.5 MB)
And when I was talking about separate download files, I meant like what you did for Superior Drummer 3. You had a 4 Part Download and an Additional Bleed Library download, with each library at about 40 or 50 GB. So perhaps for the Rooms of Hansa SDX, it could have been broken up into separate downloads for each drum kit?
Yeah, I agree about having Rooms of Hansa being available on an external drive that gets delivered to you via UPS or FedEx.
My Hansa download says it’s about 121 GB, which is still quite large (the typical SDX expansion pack is usually between 10 and 20 GB.)
I have the room on my computer, but I don’t have a very fast internet connection. This download says it’s going to take 38 HOURS!
I could order it on an external drive with an overnight delivery option and get it quicker than the download. Something for Toontrack to think about. Thanks!
EDIT: OR at least divide up the download into manageable parts. With 121 GB in a single download, if something goes wrong you have to start all over again, which in my case would take DAYS!

I second Melissa’s suggestion for the beyerdynamic DT 770 (Pro). I’ve been using these headphones quite extensively for several years. They have a wide dynamic range (good bass response), and I even use them to track and mix my songs. Even though the experts say not to mix/master your work through headphones, I found that these headphones emulate a good, professional pair of studio monitors. (I do use monitors for the final mix and master, and listen to the project through several setups (like laptop speakers, car stereo, and ear phones). And besides sounding great, they are very comfortable to wear. They are big and sturdy, but I can wear them for hours without them becoming uncomfortable.
I don’t know if you’re still looking to buy, but I’m selling The Rock Warehouse SDX and The Progressive Foundry SDX.(See my post in this forum)
But I’d also be willing to sell Custom & Vintage SDX, and Music City USA SDX (I don’t really use those much).
