I can’t. It’s to your second point. The fills are different and the song section is different. Thank you for the input tho.
Thank you for taking the time John
regarding the bleed…if that’s the case, would it make sense that it’s reducing the attack? The stand alone sounds much more attack-ier. I’ll try and post an audio snippet later tonight / tomorrow.
Nevermind. try this link: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/9feac62e7738962f85aea71a74e902c620200628191403/d475d81cc3d95f4f4e84e6f9d514e60d20200628191422/f03eaa
Having trouble uploading the logic session. How big is the file limit here? I compressed the file and there are no audio files in the session. only 32.6mbs
Ok. First, here is the stand alone. Using the 7×14 Noble and Cooley Steam Bent Maple Snare
As I mentioned, I adjusted all the settings to match the naked standalone version.
Thanks so what else do I need to purchase/download/install in order to get the the Steve Albini ones?
Can’t find anything online regarding how to manually edit time sig changes in the song track…I can change the overall time signature but it always applies to the whole track. How can I change only a few bars at a time in a song track in SD3? ***NEVERMIND – figured it out. For anyone wondering, right click on measure marker bar at the top of the song track and “Edit Time Signature…” will appear. Select “Options” and then “Add at playhead” for every time sig adjustment needing to be made***

Thanks Douglas! And I’ll add that for MACS (in case you didn’t already know) follow the above directions and instead of “right click” it’s “control+click”
yeah I know. But it’d still be cool and perhaps a little more user friendly if an actual moon gel popped up And you could adjust its size And location on a snare drum
I think I need to simplify my question:
In SD3, what control is equivalent to trim/gain?
Thanks! Just so I have it right and to be clear about my configuration, I’m setting up an instrument in logic and using SD3 on said instrument…then selecting the multi outputs option… then hitting the little plus sign on the track to set up aux tracks in order to add the individual drum parts from SD3…then routing all the parts from SD3 to those aux tracks. So, in this routing configuration, using the faders on said aux tracks in logic adjusts the GAIN of each drum part( i. e. kick snare etc) ?
You can do this? I need this info…
Yes, Digitalpimple. Here’s a how to link: https://youtu.be/gE-Ok46W5T8
