I had the same issue and found the solution for myself.

This issue appears only in Studio One (v8), not in Cubase (15 Pro) – tested in both DAWs.

In Studio One go to Plugin Manager and scroll down to the EZDrummer entry.

On the left side of the entry there is a deactivated radio button. Activate it, close that dialog and EZDrummer shows up within Fender Studio Pro v8 as an instrument.
