yeah here in 2020 i’m majorly into metal and came here looking for some gospel style beats. slow stuff like 84 bpm-110 bpm an such. i see that your video no longer works so could not check that out but yes someone needs to make a gospel pattern an stuff for praise and worship style music. i’m a rapper, a metalcore player, trying to write my first Praise and Worship songs and trying to make a beat that is in perfect timing using a keyboard just isn’t working out so great.

I agree that gospel and metal are similar, but there are subtle differences that make some of the metal beats a little odd. The same can be said for country/r&b/soul beats; they can work,, but it isn’t always exactly what you are looking for. Sure you spend some time adjusting to make it fit, but the other grooves that are specific to the genre work right out of the box. It would be great to do the same for gospel. The genre is large enough to support it’s own project, and since there is literally NOTHING like this on the market, Toontrack will own a monopoly for that market. The world needs a Gospel SDX. Toontrack can deliver.

Why has the gospel industry being overlooked by Toontrack? I agree with the OP that the gospel industry needs it’s own drum loops for modern drummers. Using metal/rock/pop loops does not cut it. Here are some examples:

I tried to embed these videos, but it did not work.
