    Hi,

if you check the ‘Supported Hosts’ list on the EZdrummer 3 product page, under ‘WILL MY DAW WORK WITH EZDRUMMER 3?’, it lists Pro Tools from version 12.
I believe this is because the AAX plug-in format introduced with Pro Tools 10 was 32-bit only, then it was a mixed 32/64bit AAX format in Pro Tools 11, to finally be 64-bit only with Pro Tools 12. The EZdrummer 3 plug-in is 64-bit only.

    Hi,

if you mean that you wish to be able to graphically edit/put/move instruments freely in the room on the DRUMS page, this is not possible.

    Hi,

please elaborate. I don’t see a problem setting the sample rate to 48kHz – 96kHz?
What exactly are you trying to do and what exactly is not working as expected?

    Hi,

do I understand you correctly that you only mistook your products to be for EZkeys?
E.g. you have Indiependent MIDI for EZdrummer and Indie Pop MIDI for EZkeys, so was it just a mixup that way?

Yes, but from what I could understand from Todd’s last reply, he intends to replace the older, smaller drive with the new, bigger drive.

    Hi,

FL Studio is a bit tricky with CC data. I suspect you need to create a MIDI Script for your controller to be able to use CC data for HH and Cymbals inside FL Studio.

    Hi,

are you using the Product Manager application? If not, please download and use the Product Manager for your product downloads, installation and authorising.
Should you still have this problem, I recommend downloading the full product installer and first uninstall the Metal! EZX, followed by re-installing and then updating.

Will it be as simple as copying the contents of my 1TB to my 2TB and making sure that the 2TB is called E:/ (same as the 1TB was)? Then just plug it in and job is done, or will SuperiorDrummer notice that something has changed and require setting adjustments?

    Hi,

since you’re on Windows, it *should* be, yes but since we’re talking about SDX libraries here, it’s no problem re-linking the libraries either inside the SD3 app/plug-in or the Product Manager.

Just let us know if you need further assistance with this.

    Hi,

I am on an Apple M1 Max, so my CPU has got 2 more cores and is a bit faster but not drastically so.
I do have twice the amount of RAM as you but unless your PC has to shuffle a lot of stuff to and from Virtual Memory, it *shouldn’t* have that much effect.
If you close the Project and re-open it, is it faster the second time? If so, Virtual Memory could be a suspect.

    Hi,

Andrew is right, you need to check the Properties of your new channel. In this particular preset, Crash 2 has got the ‘Close’ mic volume turned down completely in the Regular ‘OH’ channel, which is where the ‘Close’ signal is routed to. Crash 2 has got Bleed disabled except for in the OH Mono channel.
When you create a new mixer channel for the ‘Close’ signal, it “inherits” the volume for the ‘Close’ signal from the ‘OH’ channel, which in this particular case is ‘Off’.Screenshot-2024-01-03-at-13.05.38

    Hi Lars,

EZplayer Pro was discontinued on Nov 1st, 2019, so it will not be updated to silicon native versions.

    Hi,

are you sure you are using the Product Manager application and not the web interface?

The Product Manager application should not need any Computer ID and only ask for your Computer description.
When the Core library is installed and authorised, you should not get that “No Libraries found” message.

The reply above worked for me too.

Would you know can I use Toontrack midi maps to control other drum software like native instruments abbey road drums?

    Thanks

Well, you can Enable MIDI Out for the EZdrummer 3 plug-in (MIDI Out Settings) but I don’t think the Abbey Road MIDI layout is exactly the same, though it generally matches.

Thanks for the quick response. I did as you suggested and was able to see EZD3, thanks! However, EZD3 still doesn’t “load”, see the screenshot that’s what i get. Any other suggestions?

Please visit your Garageband Settings and make sure this is un-checked:Screenshot-2023-12-31-at-16.40.25
