Grazie

Thank you, so you can confirm that what could be done on s2 is not possible on s3.This is a real problem in creating layers with the same note and therefore I believe that s3 is inferior to s2 in terms of flexibility and most of all possible creativity. But is there a software that could allow you to exceed the indicated limit?Thank you

Well, I don’t see why the Stacking feature wouldn’t let you accomplish what you are looking for. A Stack can have several Instruments and articulations; they can be triggered by the same note but you can e.g. set velocity gates so that certain Stack members only play back between specified velocity ranges. Stack members can have different mixer channels, Envelopes, Reversed, Pitch, etc.

Ciao con s3 posso mettere sulla stessa nota midi uno snare e un chimbal? grazie

Hi with s3 can I put a snare and a chimbal on the same note midi? Thank you

Yes, if you create a Stack and put one on the other. You cannot assign the same MIDI note to two different Instruments or articulations.

    Hi Brandon 10,

Logic steals your keyboard input. It does for all plug-ins, not just SD3. However, if you have the plug-in window open and the area you wish to enter text into focused, it should work.

E.g. if I want to start the SD3 Song Track only with Shift+Space, I first click somewhere in the Track tab/area. After that I can click anywhere in the SD3 plug-in GUI and still make use of keyboard shortcuts. Not all are passed on to the plug-in, focused or not. But the rule of thumb is, click where you want the key stroke to be passed in to first.

    BR,
    John
