Normally I dont have scan plugin at startup. I download Guitar Rig 5  and couldn’ t find it after I scanned. The scan took ages. I ended up with loads of plugins added to the blacklisted  list. Did all the normal things as prescribed on the presonus site but everytime I do a full scan they are blacklisted. This is only happening in Presonus. Works in  version 3 of Presonus. Works in Cakewalk bandlab etc.

    Ezdrummer 2

    Superior 3

    Addictive Drums 2

Plus loads other which all work in other Daws.

It loads the old version of superior (version 2) in presonus. I have verified  folders amd paths but of no avail to get it working in the latest version of Presonus.

    Bit of a shot in the dark, but I found this under the Studio One FAQ;

    https://answers.presonus.com/28730/every-plugin-blacklisted-in-studio-one-4

This user had virus protection software that was preventing the new plug-ins from being scanned properly.

    As always; YMMV

    Hi John
Got it working last night did as you said. I had to remove the software completely to get the path coming up again. Installed into e:directory and all is working again.
    Many thanks for your reply.

Shouldn’t put words in their mouths.
    Its easy enough
    1. setup a studio have all the neccessary gear.
    2. Hire in what you dont have.
    3. Play acoustic guitar and use whatever you want to use, compressor, eq, reverb
    4. Record and make a preset. Each instrument could have many presets all programed in.
Thats it time consuming and expensive so youy can see the cost have to be hight to get back investment
Acoustic Nebula does the same thing.

I really think you will need a tempo map but how you go about that I am not sure as it will depend on your DAW.
If you have Toontrack ezplayer pro then you can synch the  ezdrummer with your Daw. You will have to read the manual. Its easy to do once you have tempo setup and works 100%
