Got rid of the cut and pasted file and followed your directions. I’m slowly learning. 🙂 Tried to uncheck the read only on the midi folder as suggested in the link, but to no avail. The box wasn’t checked. The box was blue initially, which I thought meant it was checked, but after going through the process several times I realized it was never checked in the first place. You have 3 options – blue, empty, or checked. I still can’t drag and drop. Is there a setting in cubase I might be missing? I never had any problem on my desktop with the 32bit version.
