That is really a great question. Shows you are thinking out of the box. Now if I fully understand what you are asking to do… I believe it is very doable, but not in EZKeys alone. You are asking to edit the midi and this can only be done in your DAW not in EZKeys. Maybe in EZKeys V2 when it is released. Instead, you will have to get it as close as you can in EZKeys and then move the midi into you DAW for editing. There you should have the full ability to extend/adjust anything you want. Now you insert EZKeys as a VST on that track and you are done. I do this in Reaper all the time and it works sweet.

Thanked by: Chuck_34You are currently running version 1 of the software which is over a decade old. You need to download and install Version 2 which fixes all that and adds editing features expected in a modern music software application. Oh, wait, there is no EZKeys version 2!
Holding off on the update until we hear a resolution to this… I got enough problems and don’t need any new ones.
OK, let me work with the mp3s . Here is an image of “…what you see is what you hear.” This is EZBass’s analysis of the two mp3s. Yes, there are differences. I am new to this package so not entirely sure of exactly what and why things have changed, but I bet there is indeed an interesting reason. That someone can enlighten us on. By the way, you have good ears, 2.6 and 7.1 look like problem areas, along with others.
You are playing the midi from the DAW back through EZBass – Right, and not using some other bass VST? If not, then there are articulations in the midi which only EZBass can play. Otherwise, hope we get to the bottom of this. The playback of the midi should be identical between the synched VST or the DAW Track.
Can you upload the EZBass file so we can try it at our end? I have not heard this issue on my PC version, but I am pretty new to EZbass.

Thanked by: jamiEZkeys is far too old to provide this requested feature. So I made an effort to find a workaround for you… unfortunately I came up short. Scaler does provide a simple R-Click [Save chords to Clipboard] but getting a simple transfer of chord “labels” from EZKeys to Scaler has some limitations. Good luck.

Thanked by: mycojohnYa, I immediately noticed the incorrect key being assigned or the incorrect chords upon importing (drop and drag) a midi file. Ended up just rewritting them. And what is with no drag and drop from Reaper into EZBass? This works fine in EZKeys and it is as old as dirt. Had to first export midi content to desktop before dragging and dropping and then it messed up the chord assignments. Strange behavior for a product which is a year old. Why isn’t these issues being reported on the web? Only major and minor chords…. Only 1 sound file available across all strings and frets for each note…. no drag and drop from the DAW…. key and chord miss assignments…. Maybe I need to give it more time. I have only just purchased it a day ago…
Huge disappointment. I did see this in a review on Youtube. Otherwise this information is pretty well hidden here in this forum which you can only access if you purchase the product. I did. So I can’t say it was a surprize.

Thanked by: rictus10 day free download trial is now available on the EZBass product website. This was announced via Facebook.
I may also be seeing some strange behavior. Need to figure out what exactly is going on…. OK, took a few minutes but things started to make sense again. So looks like all is good here for EZkeys 1.3.0 in Reaper 6.23.
Left Click right on the Chord Name. Should be that easy?
So I almost missed the 5 year anniversary a week ago, from when I posted this tread. Hate to see that milestone go by without its recognition. On top of that, this is the 50th post in this tread. Nuff said, other than we are all still waiting.
OK, I think I see what you mean now. This is a common annual sale. If you messed up during ordering and if you bought from Sweetwater, get them on the phone and they will fix things for you. Otherwise, TT’s will have to help you out. Good luck.
