itmI just discovered that I needed to use the arrow keys in Reaper to transpose the virtual midi keyboard to the correct range for the EZ Drummer kit. Doh!
itmAh recording with the Reaper metronome seems to be the secret – thanks.
Still no luck with the kick drum though – the Z key triggers the open hi-hat. N and M both trigger the snare.
