What happens when it doesn’t work. It’s not added at all? It’s added but it doesn’t have any sound?

like having the snare laid back on the back beat?

In the Grid Editor you can use Nudge to move the notes in time. You select how large each nudge step should be in the Options menu.

Have you set the UI zoom in Live to anything else than 100%?

Still have this issue with no answer from support (the worse I’ve experienced so far).

    Vincelucero/makzpj have you found a solution ?

    Thanks for your help!

Since it’s only lagging in Live, there must be something about that. Do you experience this lag with other plugins in Live?

Start the standalone, and in Settings select to reset the Scale and Window positions.  This will affect the plugins too.

Quit Pro Tools first, then do the changes in the standalone. The next time you start Pro Tools the size should be reset!

    • When loading a new preset, click the small arrow on the right side of the preset (in the menu), then open Select Parts…
    • In there, select Keep Added Instrument

    Workflow hint:

    • besides clicking the small down arrow in the menu, you can also right click the preset to show the menu, or ctrl + click to open Select Parts directly.

As well, you can also create your own custom MIDI mapping.

This is done in the Settings / MIDI In/E-drums page, which is developed for changing MIDI mapping and keeping that even when changing preset or library. You can save a custom MIDI mapping which you can recall when needed, or setup a MIDI mapping and then save a Default Project, which will recall this mapping every time you start SD3.

Have you done the MIDI mapping in the MIDI Mapping property box on the right, for each instrument, or have you done the MIDI mapping in Setting / MIDI In/E-drums?

Are you using a DAW, or getting the MIDI in to Superior Drummer 3 externally in some other way? Or are you playing MIDI from the Grooves browser?

No, you can’t select a chord from the Circle of Fifths chord editor by using the keyboard, but I’ll write it down as a feature request.

What you can do is to record all the chords to the track, by playing them, and EZkeys should recognize them. When you have all the chords on the track, use Use Browser MIDI to replace the play style with something else from the Browser (if you want another play style), while keeping the chords untouched 🙂

Yeah, we designed it so that it doesn’t have to run in the background, since we know that studio computers should have all resources put on making music, not handling software 🙂

All the problems that occur when you manually install can be solved, but it would help both you and us to use the Product Manager. I don’t know what config file you refer to, but if it’s the installer then it’s most likely Toontrack configs. The other thing it needs to know is where to put the plugin files (AAX, AU, VST) – but that is usually system standard.

    Thanks in advance!

We made the Product Manager to solve all these issues for users – and to avoid all the support we had before.

Is it possible for you to install it, fix all the installations, then uninstall the Product Manager?

    1. You don’t have to use the Product Manager, but it makes everything easier (installing, authorizing, keeping the software updated, etc). You can still install everything manually like you have before.
    2. It takes 0% background resources, since it’s not run in the background. It runs when you start it, and ends when you close the program.
