Download Product Manager and use that to install your products. It’s much easier, and you don’t have to manually handle any computer IDs 🙂

AFAIK or as far as I can remember,
the Computer ID was simply a nickname that you made up & provided (pre-Product Manager)
to help you to identify on which computer(s) you had product(s) authorized,
in the event that you were using products on more than one computer.

Not exactly like that. The Computer ID is an auto generated identification number that toontrack uses to identify the computer. If you use Product Manager, you won’t have to fiddle with these things – just install and press the authorize button, and go create some music 🙂

Generally, if you want to learn more about the product I would suggest that you watch Youtube videos (Toontrack has released official videos of how to accomplish different things), but there are also third party released howto-videos.

Besides that, there is a manual in which the different parts of EZdrummer 2 are described. In the Menu (top right corner of EZdrummer 2 interface), select Operation Manual.

There is no global “turn off all Aftertouch” setting, but we might be able to help you anyway.

    • What e-drums/hardware are you using?
    • Can you open the MIDI Monitor property box (right side of the Drums tab), hit a cymbal and see what Aftertouch values you get, and report it here?

Can you save a Cubase project file (where SD3 has this bug, and without any audio files in it) and post it here so we can have a look at it?

When saving own drum presets internally in SD3, why so short preset names? Would be nice with some more space for names like inside DAW.

I agree, we can allow longer names. I’ll write this down as feature request!

And also, when changing Drum presets the Midi controller for main volume is removed so you have to use Mid Learn to set Midi controller again. Feels a little bit awkvard.

If I “MIDI Learn” my volume to a knob on my keyboard, so I can control it with a hardware knob, and change “Drums and Mixer Preset”, the knob still works after that. Are you doing something else?

I assure you that we haven’t abandoned the EZkeys software line. If we could we would constantly update all our software, but the problem is that we aren’t a huge company that can put those resources to both update all older software and come up with new ones simultaneously. We have to prioritize some, and during some parts of time, some software will have to wait to get the next big version released. But, as I said, we haven’t abandoned our keys users!

And regarding all feedback we get, we gather everything and evaluate it, and take it into consideration for coming versions, so you aren’t speaking out to noone 🙂

Setting levels of individual instruments is easy by using the Level property box in the Drums tab 🙂

Do you mean that the double click of  a groove in the Search Tab/Browser would add it to the song track, after the last groove?
