Thanked by: zachary khoureyWe need to hear the result to be able to tell you if it’s intended to sound like that, or if there’s anything wrong…

Thanked by: zachary khoureyCan you export the audio of what it sounds like, and mention what snare you are using on what library for the audio file(s)? Attach them here in a post so we can have a listen!

Thanked by: zachary khoureyI select a snare from MODERN the snare sounds DISGUSTING.
Can you elaborate on this? To much reverb? Bad EQ?

You need to do 2 things:
Start by selecting the hi-hat in the drums tab
This should make your hi-hat play the open edge 5 when most opened

Thanked by: roland ratThere is absolutely no reason that EZDrummer ver. 1 should not work with windows 10 unless you intentionally made it not to work!
The original EZdrummer was released some 13 years ago. It’s virtually impossible to create a software that, without maintenance, can be used with all coming versions of Mac and Windows operating systems. To keep all old software updated would take so much time that new software couldn’t be released. This is the way things (unfortunately) are for all software companies. Toontrack will never deliberate develop software that will “stop working” at a certain time.

Have you tried the Webshop MIDI function in EZdrummer 2, where you can preview all MIDI files Toontrack has released?

thx very much man!… I understand… one more question… Do you know if it’s possible to send signal back into the drum module so I could layer sounds, obviously using the same USB cable that connects the module to the computer. I’m using a Macbook pro 2009… I’ve already tried using an audio cable from the computer back into the Audio In on the module. It works but i would much rather avoid the hassle.
Appreciate it.
Regards!

I don’t know how your drum module works, byt maybe someone else here on the forum can answer this? I think you can get more answers if you post it as a new question in the e-drums section of this forum!

You can’t detail control EZdrummer 2 in such a way as setting individual levels of different articulations. You can only change the levels of different instruments. You’ll need Superior Drummer 3 to control individual articulations.
