Thanks for the ideas, you have a nice thought there and we understand that it would be usable – the idea is noted :)

For now, you can use Tap2Find and tap the kick in the same pattern as the bass plays and you should get descent results.

Unfortunately not, since EZdrummer 2 can only export MIDI files, which can’t contain information about colors. These are controlled by each host, so you have to arrange that in your host (in your case Cubase) afterwards.

EZdrummer has a simplified mixer and mixer options since it’s aimed for song writers, although it has enough routing options for the most part of the musicians trying to make the next hit out there. If you want full control (for example, control the bleed volume from the snare into other mics) you should use Superior Drummer 2. There you’ll have much more precise control of the routing of all the sounds between the drums and the mics.

No, the EZkeys track can only contain one time signature. However, if you set your host to have different time signatures, EZkeys will follow it.

It’s fixed and will be included in the next update! We will release it as soon as possible.

The blue icon to the left in the search results is an icon that means that the file is taken from the online web shop MIDI. It’s also a button that you can press to see where the file comes from, and further – show you a link that takes you directly to the correct web page with information of the MIDI pack.

Thanks for the feedback. It would be a great feature to be able to change the size of the window and this is something we are looking into.

Have you checked that you aren’t using too large buffer size and that you are using the correct ASIO drivers in Reapers settings?

We are currently working on the next update, which will fix the problem with recording the first hit. It will be released as soon as possible. In the meantime follow Michaels suggestion – to start the recording a bit ahead.

When you find a file with Tap2Find, you can right click on a file in the search results and select “Show in Browser”. This will show you the structure the file origins from.

The change tempo option has been moved to the track. When you have a MIDI block on the track you can use the track menu (found on the top right side of the track) and use Half or Double Tempo.

The arrows aren’t implemented in EZdrummer 2 but might be reintroduced since they serve a good purpose.
