In fact, I’m more in need of the midi-packs then of the B3 itself. They could also be useful on the Rhodes pianos and the old String Machine that I already process. So if you just mark them “Reggea” f.ex. you give no promises or future indication if a B3 will appear or not???
The Classic has a range from A0 to E4 and the Session only from D1 to E4. I have both and the Session feels like a newer, more developed product. That is a very subjective view and a matter of taste, but had both products been up for choice at that time, I would have prioritized the Session for what I do.
I´ve had this pack for years, but never found 5/4 or 6/8. What have I missed???
Here they are – https://www.toontrack.com/product-category/ezkeysline/ezkeysline-bundles/
EZKeys Midi 6 pack (the red one)
I have a strong feeling you will be more than satisfied with that choice. Saying that, I have an actual Rhodes Mark II standing here next to me – but I liked a Mark I I used to have at work more and the Electric MK I setting DI comes very close to what I remember coming out of that one. Because the ease of use with these plugins I never use the actual Fender Rhodes anymore. Hope you have fun with it.
Yes, I also wouldn’t mind a Hammond A or B3, celebrating the launch of EZKeys2.

For that kind of music I would look at the two versions of Fender Rhodes that both sounds good and are easy to use. Also the Vintage upright piano. I bought it and when I tested it I thought “what the heck did I just buy”? BUT, using it in the mix it just sat beautifully and was much “closer” then the Studio Grand. Haven’t had much use for the Stringmachine.
Piporgan sounds great and is very suitable for film clips and church ambience, but for popular music – NO.

Thanked by: DavesbandMe also!
Are you talking about the Standalone version or are you using some kind of DAW?
In for instance Cubase you sometime transpose the key and if you are not careful, you don’t land in D major but in D dorian and then it changes a halftone in accordance with that scale… (Just a thought…)
Thanks for the input. I have that midi-pack and will check it out for sure. But as you correctly assumed, since the organ is very period oriented type Baroque – I was looking for something more J.T. Bach (Johann Toontrack Bach) or at least A Paler Shade of White… Non-specific, still identifiable strains of materiel just like the Boogie is close to Fats Waller, but at the same time aint…
Doesn’t even have to be a full pack, just something small in the common library?
Thanks for the response and I would like to point out one more thing. In the spring I bought The Vintage Upright Piano and I thought a lot and hard about why I wanted it, already owning a ton of pianoplugins that honestly sounds better… What quality did it possess that made me need one more? The answer was closeness!!! When you need intimacy and a feeling of closeness. I felt it clearly in the Salsa-video. The plugin was closer then the actual piano. Many instrumentplugins for filmmaking on the market are big, lush Hollywood sounds and films done by indie- or “one man crews” are more personal and with fewer talents acting in the picture (often only one) and you at Toontrack have already facilitated this by having av nob with more or LESS ambient or reverb for a dry sound… I have a Harmonium in my parents house, but I think I rather use yours (should I ever do a film clip of Norrland and someone picking lingonberries)!
In the new Midi-pack Latin Pop, the first audio demo is played by Studio Grand 2!
Could that mean something???

Thanked by: mikmock…or perhaps the question should be – is it just an existing preset in Studio Grand?
EZBass_Why not original collaborations? Why not a Dirtyloops pack EZKeys/EZBass/Superior Drums 3?
(Personally I would in the future like see bass-options like Sousaphone, Bottleblow, Bass-clarinet to broaden the spectrum in indie and filmmaking genres like Horror…)
Yes, plz prioritise this. Especially with EZMix. I have 4 Macs and two EZMix licenses (one major and one minor setup), but I cannot move single plugins from the Major too the minor. As you know it is what it is. I would like to move Country guitars for a special project and let the others be. At the moment you have to switch the whole pack because its locked to the original installation license.
(I’m not writing this info for you Henrik – you are well informed, I’m writing it for others who has not yet bought a second license to be aware of the fact…)
