Just did, works great! Thanks! I had a bit of a hard time finding the uninstallation procedure for each package, but then it went fine.
After uninstall of EZD2 i fired up EZD3 and tried to load my Nashville kit, the software crashed and gave me a dmp file. (Attached.)
I installed EZD2 Core again, no luck same result. If i try o load Metal machine i dont see the kit, only the stands and tripods. No crash, but annoying.

This is most like due to running 32-bit Cubase and/or 64-bit EZD2.
What version of Cubase are you running (32-bit or 64-bit)?
What version of EZD2 have you installed?
What version number is displayed in the lower right corner of EZD when in standalone?
Have you set your path to the appropriate plugin version in Cubase like in this FAQ:

Hi!
Im running Cubase 7.5 64bit on Win 8.1 64bit with EZD2 version 2.0.0 64bit. Im not at my main computer at the moment, but i will check the plugin path when I am. EZD(1) works like a charm, no EZD2 in Cubase VST window to choose. It’s EZDrummer.dll that should be in the plugin folder isnt it? Both EZD1 and EZD2 has the same name..
Solved it! Uninstalled EZD2 and did a fresh reinstall. Checked were Cubase had put my EZD1 plugin, choosed the same path at reinstall, and YAY!
Thanks for the tip!

Hi Guys,
I hope someone can help me.
I got EZD last week and upgraded to EZD2 a few days ago. I must say it’s impressive! I’d only been using EZD1 for a few days before the upgrade but the improvements are excellent.
The problem I have is this – when using Cubase 5 Essential, if I try to load EZD2 as a VS plugin, EZD1 loads instead. As I said, EZD2 now loads as a standalone, no problem. I can’t find a way load it into Cubase though. I was lead to believe that the upgrade would transform EZD1 into EZD2 seamlessly.
I’m guessing that it’s something to with the ‘plugin path’ or something, but I’m not particularly technically minded!
Any suggestions are most welcome.
Thanks in advance
Hi! I have exactly the same problem, though I have Cubase 7.5. I tested with changing the EZDrummer.dll in VST plugin folder, but no … I’m working on the problem, let you know if I solve it
