Is the exciter by waves much better than isotopes exciter (Ozone’s Exciter)? I have isotopes and use it.

I use to LOVE adding the BBEs maximizer hardware to my live guitar rigs… it was a killer.

Everything is cranked in all aspects. I’ve been digging through every setting in the software

What I did find is that the live room SD3 Henz works fine and levels and feeds are perfect. It seems to be the base SD3 kit that has this “issue” for me. IDK.

So I started over with that and have pretty well isolated each drum now including  the snare. 🤘🏻

Yes. I get that. I’m just surprised they aren’t mixed close and just pulled back to give more options if needed.

I’ve been digging in creating a lot of custom kits attempting to recreate some stems I have. Great way to learn.

The snare I’m after now is HALLOW from Alice In Chains. Its hard to isolate like that without the snare mics pumped. The OHs are softened and smooth while the snare punches through.

There’s only so much you can do.

Thanks. I did check that. Even if I turn the SD3 meter full it maybe gets to -12db and it’s very faint.

Note: whats also weird is if I STACK a snare the x busses that route the STACKED SNARE  are loud  And normal as I would expect the main snare to be

Go by freq. freq is a note. Find a way to measure or isolate the freq of each drum as you adjust.

Or just go by ear.

SOLVED:

Select “Show Web Shop Midi on top center of Grooves tab.

Browse with two conditions:

Browse Folder + Web Midi. A list of missing Midi packs shows.

I can relate. Never had ez drummer but every other day I find new things I can do.

What I found helpful is just digging in. Set an idea and try to make it happen. You’ll find things along the way that solves the issues that come up and learn SD3.

I had a good month of ok drums till I took the time to dig in and I’m still discovering …

Thanks. Just saw the ez keys update. I’ll try it out.

I’m too pandemic’d out and bummed to buy anything new right now. Too many ppl losing their jobs. Freaks me out to spend $$$ at all right now.

I’ll hold out till Superior Bass 3. 🙂
