@ Mick: Cool, now I know that my xr18 will work as an aufiointerface with superior drummer. How much latency do you have?
@Cristoph: Ich befürchte Deine Idee wird nicht funktionieren . . . . Auch mein TD27 hat diese Interfacefunktion aber ich kann nur eine Stereosumme rausgeben.
That will not wotk, sorry . . . .
The only thing you can do is to build different kits and load them in a program like gigperformer for example.
So you can switch between the kits on a live gig.
Hi, did you already reduce the buffersize in your audiodriver? If this doesn’t help you should think about an external audiointerface.
I work with a buffersize of 128 on a mac and it works just fine. You can use your rolad td-50 also as an audiointerface. There are a lot if videos in youtube.

Thanked by: David40Hi John,
thanks for that information! But two pads triggering one and the same HH with just one footcontroller will work right???
Van2112 . . . have you tried to use different Midichannels for each HH? Perhaps this could be a way????
If you mean a permanent closed HH woth “deadhat”, that normally shouldn’t be a problem. If you have a sdx or ezx with some HH-Stacks or so . . . just add that stack let it learn the midi note of your second HH pad.
Or am I thinking to simple???
Hi! I did a work around a few yeaes ago when I had a second hihat on one Module.
If you mount a second hihat pad and connect it to an aux on the module, just tell the trigger input to play the same note than the already existing hihat. But tge point is, that you want different sounds, right??
Hope you find a solution and let us all know!!!👍

Hi Lobstafari,
sorry but I don’t get your point. In Gigperformer you can do the changes between scenes by midi or programchange by your drummodule. 🤔 Or did I get yourquestion wrong?
That’s the problem we all know and had when first using SD with an e-drum. No one has a ever posted a solution why superior behaves this way. When you open your midi monitor you will see that even the incoming notes with 127 volume don’t sound like a click on the drum in superior. If you are using a td-30, you only have positional sensing on the snare drum. If you want PS on every pad, you need something like the e-drumin module. On this “Midimodule” and its software you are able to adjust PS to every drumpad.
If you want to get some good advice and help, look for Luke Oswald on Youtube. He has done a workshop with exactly setup like yours!!!

Thanked by: Cesar ValdezHi,
your set will not respond as you expect as long as you don’t have the right hardware in front of SD3. Positional sensing is the key. But as far as I know, only the snare has positional sensing. Thats the reason why your snare reacts to 3 zones and the Tom’s don’t. How shall SD get the zone information when your Drumbrain doesn’t send any? Please tell us your hardware setup in front of SD.

Thanked by: Cesar ValdezHi I guess that your midiplayer isn’t mapped the right way when playing back the superior miditrack. I mean they don’t speak the same language .

Thanked by: LobstafariHi, my tip is to use gigperformer. I use it and you are able to load several instances which ca be recalled by midi if you like. You can set up complete shows if you like. Great tool!!!! And it is really quick, no boting loading times. Just give it a try. As far as i know you can check it for a short period for free.
