I don’t know if you really need those articulations when you use this automatic 3 zone midi mapping thing. I must have a look when I’m at my set again.
Do you miss anything by not having these articulations mapped??
Hi,
the Midmapping gor the TD-27 doesn’t support the full abilties of the 3-zone function the VH-14 offers. That might be the reason for this messages. To get all 3 zones you need to choose the TD50-X Midimapping. And another thing to mention is, that you have to choose hihats, that support the needed articulations for the 3-Zone function. There are some vids on youtube that tell you what to do.
Hi, it’s a known issue I also ran into. SD just needs 1 core!!! That’s what I did and voilá everything worked without clicks an pops.
Cheers
Hi,
If you have a preset set to your needs, save it as a userpreset. Than do a copy and load the other stuff you want to change for the drums or cymbals an you are goid to go.
This way you keep your xDrums and the midi configuration.
Cool, and did you check the Topic I mentioned above in my further answer? That will help you 👍
ROUTE SD3 TO ROLAND TD-50
search for this topic in the forum to get some infos.
It seems to be possible but only if you have a td-50x
Hi, I’m trying same setup with a td27. It works but you have to deal with latency when using superior drummer. I finally boght a presonus studio 192 a week ago as audio interface for lowering the latency. Going to check it out the coming weeks, so I can give you more advices.
So if you want to check out your configuration, you have to connect your xr 18 via usb to your computer an choose it as your interface for output. The other way could be to choose your td50 as your interface as well. All this depends on what your goal is. Do you want seperate outputs in your xr18?
Cheers Ilja
The Presonus 44 just has 4 in 4 out, thats why they call it 44 i guesse. So you have to route kick and snare to channel 1 & 2 and the rest to 3&4.
Do you need the seperate outs for the foh?
Cheers Ilja
Hi,
one way could be to add the MC Snare as an additional snare for example.
Cheers
Hi and thank you!! I’ll take a look on that interface.
Yes, the problem is definately the soundcard. Thanks for your advice!
You should google it 😉
There is too much in it and with it to describe here 😁
Thanks for your advice!! How about the driver updates? Will it wotk with the M1 chip without issues???
Hi David, do you also want to switch between different sets on your live gigs? If yes, you will need something like gig performer. This will also solve your wish to play and stop loops and all that stuff.
