Thanks so much for the help. I later found out that I had the Reverb send as a mono instead of stereo.

Yep, I can get it to start after a long wait, Olof. It says no MIDI Input devices are found under MIDI Device under the Audio/MIDI Setup. The AKAI Sampler is connected but is unable to trigger any sounds. When I click Rescan Devices, nothing happens. Thanks again, Olof.

Thanks again, Olof. I realized that I didn’t have any MIDI devices connected before; just the Pro Tools 11 Rack & keyboard. I connected a MIDI device (Akai controller) & it took a very, very long time to load up. Anything else I can try? Maybe another Terminal command?

Thanks guys for the responses! I guess the disadvantages are minimal but you guys convinced me to get the Electronic EZX hardcopy.

So if I wanted Metal files, I would have to buy an expansion pack? I assumed there would be some Metal files if there were 8,000 files.

My groove browser looks incredibly different & much simpler. I have opened it up as a plug-in in Pro Tools. Then I’ll click on “Open Grooves.” Just about everything is different. Thanks Scott.
