I have heard back from Vienna. Looks like latest update breaks older Vienna less files.
Can I just install 2.1.1 backwards?
Please send to my email- too_damn_hip@yahoo.com

Here’s my confirmation from Vienna Inst…..

    Hi toodamnhip,

I am afraid I have to confirm the fact that the update from EZDrummer 2.1.1 to 2.1.2 via the Toontrack Product Manager seems to break backward compatibility in VE Pro – one can create new EZDrummer channels, but opening older projects indeed throw the message you have mentioned here as well.

Unfortunately, I haven´t been able to revert back to 2.1.1 either, so I have no solution for you at the moment – please keep us posted as soon as our colleagues from Toontrack have sent us their reply!

My apologies for not having better news.

    Best, Marnix

I like the songwriter parts for intro, verse, chorus, and fills, but I would like to see outros listed also. A good strong finish also helps the song along.

I too want midi drum endings, such as tasty or crazy cymbal rolls and fills, not necessarily “in tempo” but realistic, like a real drummer plays when a song breaks down.

    Yes. Per the product description:

‘The Music City USA MIDI comes from the Superior Drummer 2.0 sound expansion with the same name.’

There are other MIDI packs that are the same as the MIDI from SDXs and EZXs. But, it is mentioned in the product description so you’ll know.

I find this too confusing. Is the Jazz MIDI pack the same as the midi grooves contained in EZX Jazz? I already have EZX Jazz and don;t want to pay for something I already have. I also found it confusing when buying the recent reggae kit and midi pack.s I really think you guys should make things clearly somehow. Maybe make a separate category for Jazz packs that come bundled with drums? Please advise.
