On a different forum, at least three people asked me to add my male vocals to the song, so that’s what I did for a new mix called “I Really Do-with some male vocals”; it is the song at the top. Whether this newer mix is an improvement or not is purely subjective. Here is my link:
Thank you for the review! Now your song: I had to listen at a fairly low volume: there seems to be a probably intentional distortion on at least most of the mix. I like the classic music piano melody, and the strings. I like your singing, though it gets pitchy at times. I recommend Melodyne for that. All good melodies here. Nice song! If you are talking of the descending synth sound first heard at 0:40, that is u-he ZebraHZ; there’s a good chance the regular Zebra 2 could make the same sound, though I did not check. Yes, I like Gary Numan a lot, and I think “Cars” is one of his best songs.
