I’m glad I downloaded the demo before purchasing, because I have the same issue with EZ Drummer 2 setting the sample rate to 44.1 with no option to change to 48k. (Windows 10, SSL2+)
I’ve enjoyed using it in the DAW, but until I can use it in standalone without throwing a wrench in my audio settings, I’m going to pass on this product.
