You know I played around with EA when it first came out, but old habits die hard. However after a little experimentation, quantizing in EA is definitely superior (no pun intended) to beat detective.

phew… OK… I can go back to talking about one thing again… Beat Detective is probaby going to be the tool you reach for in this case, although there are some other time stretching options in PT 8, I have only used beat detective.

Always track your drums as midi events (this is the beauty of SD2). All is not lost though… are the drums recorded on seperate tracks? 

My problem is… I shouldn’t try and deal with more than one thing at a time.

Were the drums recorded as midi events? If no; look at drumtracker… if yes… see above OR just do it again as midi…
Were the keyboards recorded as midi events? If no; look at beat detective…
