Hi David Blue, I had the same problem and nearly went mad before I understood, that everything was played twice. I had a tiny difference between EZbass and the timeline. The result was weird.

The solution is to copy the midi-information to a new track instead the same one.

Hi Cica. I am working with MacOS Catalina 10.15.5. I never had any problem with the Toontrack Product Manager. I did not bother about any proxy. It just does what it is supposed to do.

Sorry, this was my fault. I just realized, that I had an older midi track still in the timeline. That is, where the second bass tone came from. Nothing wrong with EZbass. It is a marvelous tool and working great.

    thanks for the help

But how can I de-authorize? I can install, authorize, download … but not de-authorize. The old computer is now newly formatted, so no instruments there. Do I have to tell this to Toontrack?

Okay then. I will use EZkeys as suggested (which makes sense, indeed) and wait for further notice from toontrack.

    thanks

So I am just one in a very long line asking for EZbass. Thanks for your reply. I did not look up all threads, but to me it seems that there is no answer from toontracks. They don’t tell if they are working on it nor why not. Is there any other source of good basslines in midi? I would deeply prefer to have it from toontracks but it would help to find it elsewhere.

At last I could install HipHop, but it took me half the weekend. First download the full version of EZD 2.0.2. Only then update to EZD 2.1.1. Once this is done HipHop can be installed.

I got mixed up with the authorization folder.
