Not at my computer, but top right, in one of the drop downs, is an option to remove overlaps or something like that.

Double click the header on the song (groove) block. In the pop up, click on the groove editor. The manual is a great place to start, along with the YT vids. https://www.toontrack.com/manual/superior-drummer-3/

    Cheers.

Hi. Thanks for the note. The behavior is the same in both standalone and plugin. Version is the latest, 3.2.7.

I’ve tried to attach a short demo in three formats (.mp4 and .mov video format, and I even tried a regular ol’ animated .gif), and I get the same message with all the formats: Error! File type not allowed.

So… what video format is allowed?

    Thanks.

    Hello,
Is there no way to rename an x-drum?
I’ve added an additional snare, and I can’t for the life of me find a way to rename it from “Instrument 1”.

I can only underline what David and others stated. I am a fan of  Toontrack products for many years now and use SD3 and meanwhile also EZBass quite a lot. That’s the kind of features and GUI that makes fun when creating music. I gave up using EZKeys meanwhile and went for some other products, but I would love to come back to EZKeys if EZKeys could offer similar features and a look&feel like EZBass and SD3 do.

Can’t express strongly enough how AMAZING that would be. EZ Bass and SD3 GUIs and capabilities are incredible. Unfortunately, after years of people here requesting updates to EZ Keys, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen. It’s really too bad because people actually compose music on piano. Bass and drums, not so much.

Writing in yet AGAIN for the ability to move channels around in the SD3 Mixer. This will be a big help for us to use the SD3 mixer. Three years ago Scott the moderator said they were aware of this and working on it. We are all still waiting for this update..!

Didn’t realize the search box was for the forum. Good to know. Thanks for mentioning.

Hey, thanks. Not sure how to “draw the articulation in on the CC4,” (do you mean add the MIDI notes to the Grid Editor for the articulations you mention)?

I hit this a while back, so I’m not sure I remember exactly the steps I took to correct it. But you can do what you’re trying to do. I think it may have had something to do with making sure I ONLY copied the MIDI from the groove, and not the groove itself with its native chord structure.

Maybe right-click on the groove and “copy MIDI” or right-click… copy… go down to the MIDI line in the song track and right-click… Paste MIDI…  it was something like that…  you want to only extract the MIDI from the groove… hope that helps.

Check out section 4.1 of the manual. See if the “Song Key” choice in the header bar makes a difference.

According to the release notes you can now use 4 string only mode on the standard and other EBX extensions by selecting lowest playable note.

Quite a few other fixes too. Look in the release notes on the support tab at the top of the page for the full list.

Section 3.1 of the manual has a Load Parts section that might be something to try.
