Hello.
I’ve been using SD3 for quite a few years now but never bothered with all that fancy ambience channels.
I recently started playing around with Atmos a bit. Just for my own fun. And came up with a brilliant idea to try a drum groove with all its surround glory.
Here’s the question:
Which of the SD3 libraries have the actual 11.1 tracks?
Here’s the quote from the website – “IMMERSIVE 11.1 SOUNDS. The Superior Drummer 3 sound library was recorded using eleven additional room microphones set up in a surround configuration. This will enable you to produce drum mixes for use in anything from stereo to 5.1, 9.1 and all the way up to 11.1 systems.”
Is this only the main library the SD3 came with or are all/some supported? If there’s more which one are those?
One more thing.
I exported some files and it came out with Ambience Far, Ambience Mid and Ambience Near, those can’t be the surround tracks, can they?
If yes, then what’s what? Which one is the front and which rear? And what about height?
