Hi, I’m struggling with a couple of issues with updates in product manager.
On my MacBook Pro (2017) I recently checked for updates and had a large amount of products showing as needing update. Everything downloaded and installed / updated with no issues.
On my iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, 2019) however only two updates are showing as available (Vintage Rock EZX & DFH EZX) as per the screenshot for both of these I get the error message that one or more required files are missing.
I haven’t actually used EZD in years as I upgraded to SD2 and then SD3 and haven’t really seen the need to go back but I haven’t been able to uninstall it.
So I have two questions really. Firstly is there a fix for these errors and also is there a way to force Product Manager to rescan for updates?
I’ve tried downloading and re-installing product manager, EZD and both the updates but the same errors persist.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Just do what the error message says: Reinstall the full product (the EZX). For each EZX, click Show Details, download the full installer, use the menu to the right of it to uninstall the product, then install it.
Cmd-R refreshes both what downloads are available and what is installed. The latter (installation status) is also updated every time the Product Manager window is activated.

Getting error message when trying to install FunkMasters Midi pack on mac using Installer.
After your installation fails, then you should see a button in the lower left corner which allows you to read the logs.
In my case, it said that the file for EZDrummer/EZX_dfh/Sounds/soundb0.obw and the same for the failed install for the latin expansion – EZX_Percussion
In each case, while the installer was still opened, I searched for the soundb0.obw file but it was only located in the temporarily mounted installer disc.
I copied the soundb0.obw file to my /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/EZX_dfh/Sounds
As well as doing the same when I had Latin installer app was opened
And in that case – I copied the soundb0.obw file to my /Library/Application Support/EZDrummer/EZX_Percussion/Sounds
Each time that I re-ran the installer, the installation was successful because it could find the file that it was looking for
With that said, I have NOT done any extensive testing, but when clicking on each tom, snare, etc… it appears to be working
I hope this helps someone
BTW, this error happened on my Mac
Hi,
I just want to remind you and everybody reading this that the best way to avoid issues is to use the Toontrack Product Manager application, not download installers from the web interface.
