    Hi Hill Music,

I guess you have a very old installation of either the Nashville EZX or the Vintage Rock EZX?

If so, please Uninstall this/these and then re-install the full EZX product before applying the update.

Hi John….I have the same problem. ABSOLUTELY ALL of my Toontrack uninstall options are completely greyed out!! I want to uninstall Superior Drummer 2 (it doesn’t work with  Reason 12…I keep getting an error message) plus, I want to free up hard drive space!!  WHAT CAN I DO?

If you are using macOS 10.14 or earlier, you can use the uninstaller which is included in the download package for Superior Drummer 2.

Otherwise, you can manually uninstall it by deleting the following:

    • Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > VST > Superior Drummer.vst
    • Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > Plug-Ins > Components > Superior Drummer.component
    • Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > Avid > Audio > Plug-Ins > Superior Drummer.aaxplugin
    • Macintosh HD > Library > Application Support > DigiDesign > Plug-Ins > Superior Drummer.dpm

Im glad I’m not the only one having the uninstall problem.

When I down load the Project Manager I get 4 folders. Which one do I clic on?

I purchased EZ drummer  last year and really liking it.

Recently I saw the new product Hitmaker SDX love the new sample ideas (exp. Phill Collins sound)

So I downloaded it but it would not authorize. (also asking me of my computer ID which I have no idea about that. Your directions showed if I use product manager I didn’t have to worry about that detail.

Hitmaker was not accessible because I now need to upgrade to Superior drummer (My mistake for not reading the requirements) which I purchased and  It also added a Avatar also probably part of some bundle…

I figured I was good to go Then I purchased Hitmaker and began to download it.

Now my computer doesn’t have enough space for all these add on’s. ( again my fault)

I really like EZ drummer and I’m sure Superior Drummer will be a lot better.

So I need to delete EZ drummer so I can enjoy and experience these great new products.

Please help me to uninstall EZ drummer.

    thank you

    Tom Occhiogrosso.

    Hi,

while I do not understand the part of you getting 4 folders when downloading the Product Manager application, the way to Uninstall EZdrummer via the PM app is to download the Installer for the Core Library and then from the small “hamburger” menu right next to the ‘Download’ button select ‘Uninstall’.

An alternative is to navigate to your {Mac HD}/Library/Application Support/EZdrummer/ folder and delete these folders:
    EZX3_EZdrummer3_BrightRoom
    EZX3_EZdrummer3_MainRoom
    EZX3_EZdrummer3_TightRoom

which will remove the Sounds but keep the MIDI. So that’s a manual part uninstall, so to speak.

However, you will only get back about 15GB on your drive if you uninstall the EZdrummer 3 Core Library and Hitmaker is 93,5GB so I recommend installing SDX:s on an external drive, preferably an SSD one.

    BR,
    John
