Hello. I just wanted to address an issue with The Rock Warehouse SDX expansion and the Hi-Hat function. I play with a Roland TD-27KV drum kit, with the VH-10 hi-hat. As is logical in the SD3 I have the Roland TD-27 MIDI mapping preset configured. The hi-hats on The Rock Warehouse SDX don’t react well, they always sound open. However, if I change the midi mapping preset to another Roland module preset (can’t remember which one exactly) it works fine.
I must say that I have SD3 and EZ3 as well as a multitude of expansions (10 SDX and 27 EZX), and in all of them the hi-hat works perfectly well with the TD-27 preset. Therefore it is The Rock Warehouse’s problem.
I wonder if there will be an update to fix the problem. I never use that expansion because I don’t have to keep changing the midi mapping preset and I would like to be able to use it normally.
Thanks.

This has been a problem from day one for me with the same setup. I’ve made them aware, FWIW.
Thanks for the report. We will get this fixed in an update as soon as possible.

Thanked by: MrTopo! The hi-hat bug hasn’t been fixed yet.
Plus I just bought the Custom Shop EZX and, to my disappointment, I have the same problem with the hi-hat, making it practically unusable on my e-drum to play on. Will it be fixed too? I really like how it sounds, but I can’t use it properly. 😞

The Rock Warehouse SDX has been updated a few days ago and now the hi-hat works properly with my e-drum. It took a while but it finally arrived. Thanks!! Hopefully you can do the same with Custom Shop EZX =D

Hi Damian, do you know if the same bug will also be fixed for Custom Shop EZX?
