Tambourine and Clap timing

It seems as though the timing of the tambourine is delayed and using the grid in a DAW isn’t practical, unless I’m missing something. I don’t typically section out songs in the song editor of ED3 but rather type in a drag in parts and edit them as needed.

In using the drum editor in Studio One 6, and clicking in a tambourine, it’s grossly out of time. I’m not sure where to look to fix this.
