Could you create a much – needed Surf Music expansion for Easy Drummer 2? I think there’s is a big need for this. You have heavy metal, pop, rock, nashville, and lots of others, but surf is missing from your catalogue. I think many people would want a surf version. Thanks!

Just chiming in and adding to the list. Would LOVE a ezdrummer surf expansion or at least a surf drum midi pack. Also, rockabilly drums/ezbass would be incredible too. Fingers are so firmly crossed.

Keen as a bean for a surf MIDI pack. There are some grooves that are close, but none quite nail the attitude. Need some Tom driven beats too (eg Bombora by the Atlantics).

Surfpunk is one of my predominant styles and honestly, everything you need is already here.

It’s really just about great toms, a real sounding bass, and a snare that fits your vibe.

They could create one but truly, it’s already there.

We’ve had some good non-metal packs out over the last few years, but really need that classic Surf EZX.

Would love it to have some vibey slow to medium bpm tom driven stuff as well as some fast driving stuff as well.

Bumping this again. There’s very little in the way of surf midi files out there, so Toontrack would corner the market. Come on guys… yes, there are some packs that can be adapted, but they lack the frills and fills of the surf sound.

Hey All,

I’m the one who started this tread requesting Surf Drums, back in 2017…yeah 9 years ago. My question is this: Does Toontrack still exist, other than this web site? I haven’t seen anything new from them since EZ Drummer 3…at least as far as I can tell. Does anyone have any idea if they’re still upgrading their products? Will there be an EZ Drummer 4???
